Chief Minister expresses gratitude to the Central Government for its significant contribution to improving Healthcare Services in Tribal Areas
Raipur : Union Health Minister Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda, in his statement in Parliament, highlighted that India has witnessed a decline in maternal mortality rate, infant mortality rate, and under-five mortality rate at more than twice the global rate. He attributed this success to the effective implementation of various healthcare programs under the Ministry of Health.
Shri Nadda particularly mentioned the tribal-dominated regions of Chhattisgarh, including Bijapur, Konta, Narayanpur, Bastar, and Dantewada, where remarkable improvements in health indicators have been recorded. He stated that this progress has been achieved through the effective execution of maternal and child health improvement programs. The Union Minister emphasized that the multi-dimensional strategies adopted by the Health Ministry have accelerated this transformation, and continuous efforts will be made to enhance the quality of healthcare services and make these improvements sustainable.
